Partied in K-town with the Bae brothers. Heh. =) Frank, reaching his 30′s has met a girl and now is moving to Cali… Hmm… I remember him saying just 5 months ago how he’d never leave NYC, yadda yadda. It was all fun.

Haven’t partied in K-Town in so long, aside from occassional trips to BBNY for their fabulous chicken and a few drinks with Dan the bartender. =)

I met some really nice down to earth people today (strange occurance being this is NYC after all), which is reassuring esp. with all the weirdos that have been in and out of my life lately.

I saw Jin, Howie, Allister, Jen, and Joe for the first time like like a year (??!!!!), and it was nice to see their faces.

Man, I’m gonna miss Frank. The smile on his face was one of sheer happiness, even before the alcohol was starting to flow. He seems to finally found what he’s been looking for or otherwise he wouldn’t have made this drastic decision to go out to the WEST-SIIIIIIDE! I wish that he be happy, because dammit… after all the stuff he’s been through, he deserves the best. Enough Heismans already!

To see all these people gathered tonight, and how they share such a powerful bond is a nice sight to see. Semper Fidelis…

I hate Valentines day… Well, mainly because I’m single this year round. My apartment sits directly across the NYU Freshman Dorm: Weinstein. I printed on one page each the letters: V, hyphen, D, A, Y, S, U, X. Then I stuck them on my window (which is a 10 foot tall window) to say “V-DAY SUX.” In about an hour I had 4 people in Weinstein do the same thing.

Maybe this year I’ll make an effort to make people’s day instead…

I made 12 people smile today… and counting. Made 2 people laugh in person today. Cheered up 1 friend (non-v-day related), and made someone blush. Go make someone happy today! =) Lets see how far this goes…

Some people get pissed at the truth… Others must learn to apologize… I can’t stand when people don’t apologize and think that they are right. Then the get pissed when you point out that they did wrong. Nuff said…

So whats new in my life?

1. Reading from the stats on my web server, looks like I’m getting heavy traffic lately. How come you freaks never sign my guestbook! And why does everyone only play games and look at pics? Hahaha…

2. For those that don’t know I’m now the leading model photographer for CrankyBabeCritic.com Basically I shoot prospective models, cover fashion events, etc, etc. On top of that, I’m also their legal coucil (filing papers and charters for LLC), and a consulting producer (in the informal sense). Jade, you rock… I can’t believe how far you’ve gotten since that day I told you about web monkey… Talk about taking charge of things!!

3. I’m also doing part time work at the Maschovitis Technology Group, a small consulting firm. I’m mostly doing network hardware setup and things like that. Some goooood shiiiit… =)

4. For those who don’t know, I’ve already signed with Johnson & Johnson’s Information Managment Leadership Development Program (IMLDP). Basically is 2 years of training on 8 month rotations, where after 2 years they’ll pay for your MBA in full, anywhere that you get in. Or if you choose, you can go directly into a management role (assuming you did well in the IMLDP stage). It’s also a good spot to tuck away while the recession tital wave makes infated companies crash. =) (That’s one of those reasons why I left my awesome finance job – recession on the brink)

5. I’m relaxed, and I’m happy. Yay. =)

6. All my free time goes into studying for GMAT and boosting my digital imaging/photography/video skills. Gotta love DV and firewire baby!

7. I’m going to Cali in May, then korea in the summer… aww yeah!

8. U2 in concert in NY June 16 and 19th. Who’s with me baby! Uma!!!

9. No need for a woman now… Let me enjoy my last semester… =) Besides, I got all my closest friends to chill with. Well then again, 12 days till DOH! Valentines day… blah =P

10. Saw Rent with Chihye on Monday… one line stuck in my head really well: “There’s only us, There’s only this, forget reget, or life is yours to miss…” Just made me realize that I gotta enjoy life… Kinda complements my decision last year that I really don’t give a crap about being filthy rich as long as I live comfortably. Live life today as if it were your last. I realize that if I die now (although that would suck), that I wouldn’t feel bitter or cheated out of life. I’ve helped a lot of people in my life so far, made some TRUE friends, learned many lessons, and have pretty much what I want (within reason). I realize… I am happy with myself… Truely.

11. I realize that my parents sacrificed so many things in their lives so that I could live comfortably. The least I can do is make sure that they live comfortably for the rest of their lives. I truely love my parents.

12. I still live by Semper Fidelis and Carpe Diem. No one shall change who I am, no one shall be able to destroy me. I am strong, independent, and a man of my honor. I shall forever remain true to myself and my comrades. Semper Fi!
