Hey I got a new cell phone, and a new #. If you need it contact me. My contract with Voicestream (TMobile) was done in January, and my phone is in a sad state of busted-ness. However, TMobile is sneaky in that they require a 3 month wait period after you cancel your contract before getting a new one (to get a free phone). There’s always ways around this, and our resident Chinatown expert, Wincie gave us the scoop on how. Click the MORE link for the story.

For those who don’t know yet, Caroline moved in my place last week. So its the merger of Song & Louw in one location. Okay, dumbass Wall St. style headline… It was bound to happen eventually, and it did. Of course this forced me to clean out a lot and throw away / give away lots. It’s a good thing she doesn’t have too much stuff! Mostly clothes, accessories, miscellaneous things and her laptop. I already called the phone company so that she could
get her name listed under my phone #, as well as get her name on the bill so that she can claim that she lives here if she ever needs to. Since she was pretty much over all the time, it’s like nothing has changed… Although it’s a lot more convenient because I don’t have to drive her home every night just as I feel tired and sleepy.
This weekend her parents were over from Seattle for her graduation. They invited me over for dinner on Friday, then a larger dinner on Sunday with her relatives. Holy cow, we ate like kings!
Got a chance to meet her doctor cousin. We’re probably gonna hang out with him again this Friday.

Ever wonder why people do stupid things or have dumb procedures (like at work), but no one seems to know why the heck they do it? Like why does Radio Shack ask for your phone number everytime you buy batteries? Today, I heard a wonderful allegory about why people do these stupid things, and not know why. Press MORE to learn more about the very funny, yet true, allegory.

Sunday, May 3rd was the NYU Senior Formal for the class of 2003, at the Hilton Plaza in New York City. So of course I got all dressed up and went with Caroline. I’ll be the few guys to admit it, that guys have it easy. I just dry clean my suit (which I’ve probably wore to an event before) and shirt, polish my shoes, get a haircut, and I’m pretty much set to go. Meanwhile, what a girl has to do is a completely different story… Press MORE to read on.
