So there were around 10 born, I think. I can’t see them since she keeps covering them with her body to nurse. She’s not that great of a mother though. I left for dinner, came back and there were 2 babies on the other side of the cage and she didn’t seem to care. They’re suppose to bring them back to the nest since they’re blind, deaf and hairless and need to nurse. I had to scoop them up with a spoon (can’t get human scent on them or they’ll get rejected by Dot this early) and put them back in her nest. Maybe her motherlyness will improve over time.
