Yesterday I said goodbye to Chai, and delievered him to his new home at Andrew Doe’s apartment. I’ll miss Chai a bit but I know he’ll be well taken care of. I think Dot is happy that she’s the only hamster again though. She was probably saying, “Good riddance!” to Chai on his way out.

Quote Dot: “Good riddance!”

Caroline and I had an interesting experience in Harlem, where we were dropping Chai off to his new home. While we were parking, this black Lexus pulls up next to us and rolls down their window. Thinking that they were going to ask for directions, I roll down my window too.

Them: Hey man, do you want some weed?
Eddie: No thanks.
Them: Yo, we got the E too! We got guns, we got everything!!
Eddie: No thanks, I’m good man.
Them: Aww man, come on….

They then drive off. Now, having gone to NYU and all I’ve been offered weed and ecstasy while walking around the park, so that’s not so shocking. But GUNS?!?! That’s a whole new level!!! And these guys were definitely not undercover cops or anything. I waited in the car while Caroline dropped Chai off, during which these guys came back to bother me again. Yeah I know I’m like the only asian in the neighborhood, but comon man, I don’t need guns!
