Yeah, so like if you’re insane enough to buy the Holiday 30 day unlimited Metro card for $76 (Cash only? WTF?), you get 10 extra days free for a total of 40 days. To make this worthwhile, one must take 38 trips (to break the $2 standard fare), but 45 trips to really get a good cost break from this deal.
