Article: Lowering Your Odds on Being Outsourced

March 31st, 2006

I usually don’t read most of those IT newsletters I get, but one article posted here by Computerworld was a eye catching topic on a study of how to reduce your chances of being outsourced. The gist of the article? If you’re an IT guy (much like myself) don’t pigeon hole yourself into the technical aspect by going nuts into coding and languages, rather do a hybrid of the technical and business so that you can show that while you know the technical aspect, you need to have just as a good grasp on the business side of things to prove that you’re a versatile resource.
